Finding work can sometimes be challenging for people who have a criminal record or have spent time in prison. There are organisations that can help to provide information, advice and support to help you find suitable courses, education, training and/or work opportunities.

The Apex Trust

Helps people with criminal records to obtain appropriate jobs or self-employment through its Employment Training centres, which offer a variety of courses.

Creative and Supportive Trust (CAST)

Based in Camden, CAST provides education, training, careers advice and support to female ex-offenders.

NACRO

This nationwide charity runs employment and youth training schemes in many parts of the country, to get ex-offenders back into work.
